Work at Home Moms

Some of us that are lucky (or unlucky depending how you look at it) enough to be work at home moms and do not have to work away and send the kids to day-care.  It is tiring working a full day then doing the cooking, cleaning, shopping, washing AND spending time with the kids.  You just don’t always have the time and energy to get to know them as well as you should.

Real work from home in the form of a home based business is one way around this.  It means you can be at home through the day, cutting out the commute.  The only downside to this kind of work from home opportunity is that they will be time intensive in the day.  Your business will generally depend on your complete attention as you will probably be relied upon to respond to a phone call or email.  You’ll also have to spend time attracting new customers which can be very time consuming and tiring.

The Internet has opened the door to much more flexible work at home jobs.  With paid surveys and affiliate networks, you can work at home as and when it suits you.  Obviously the more you put in the more you get out but at least this way you will be able to put your family first.  Real work from home on the internet is possible and work from home moms can put their parenting first.

   While I don’t really like the paid survey route, I do agree that one can build a real business with actual flexibility via appropriate affiliate marketing strategies.

   If the home base business has fluctuating hours, then perhaps a child care coop might work, where the small business owner would take his or her part in watching all the children. This would reduce child care expenses while assuring that someone known and trusted is watching the children.
