The Benefits of using Wordpress for your business

Most work at home jobs will require a website of some sort.  Some affiliates programs will give you a website as I mention on my work at home post, but is this always enough?  If you did want to work from home and maybe feel overwhelmed by the idea, I have some tips on the fantastic Wordpress tool and why you should use it.  I will show you the benefits of Wordpress and why you can work at home online easily.

1.  You don’t need to be able to program!
You don’t need to be a programmer to use it.  I’m using it now and I’m have no where near that type of skill.  It is very easy to use and easy to undo any mishaps.  Your work from home opportunity will be easier than you think.

2. It uses a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor
This mean what you type is how it’s seen on the site.  Easy and VERY straight forward.  Real work from home often involves distractions.  This means you return to a very familiar looking screen that will save itself frequently.

3. The background work is done
How Wordpress knows where your website is doesn’t need to worry you, it does it itself.  Alot of work goes off in the background but all you have to do is put your user name and password.

4. Free Templates
The templates that give all the space for the content and images and have a nice looking design are free too.  There are some “premium” templates available but the cost and look of those is personal preference.

5. Plug-ins
Want it but can’t do it?  Search for a plug-in to do it for you.  Whatever “it” is.  It could be a timer, a search facility, anything.  They’re are easy to search for and usually onlu require 4-5 clicks to get them on your page.

6. Search Engine Marketing
This, again, is a specialised skill that you don’t need to worry about.  As I mentioned above, there is a plug-in for everything and the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) plug-ins are great.

7. Easy Customisation
With all the above on your site it may get a little crowded.  Luckily, Wordpress allows for easy customisation of anything you add.

8. Advanced
As I said, you don’t need to be a programmer to use Wordpress.  If you are however, Wordpress supports HTML, PHP and CSS.  I wouldn’t (or couldn’t) give you any information on this I just know it’s there.

So once more we have seen how easy setting up your own work at home business is.
